This policy explains what happens when you cancel, when a refund is available, and how we handle billing disputes. It applies alongside our Terms and Conditions.
1. During early access — nothing to refund
Clikgen is currently free. No subscription fee is charged, no payment method is stored, and therefore no refund can arise from your use of the platform during this period. You may cancel at any time by closing your workspace, with no notice period and no exit fee.
Third-party charges — Meta conversation fees, telephony minutes, email sending costs, AI usage and Google Places API calls — are billed directly to you by those providers. We cannot refund them because we never receive them. Refund requests for those services must go to the provider concerned.
2. When paid plans apply
If you later opt in to a paid subscription, the following will apply from the date that subscription begins.
Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from within the workspace or by writing to us.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the service remains available until then.
- We do not automatically pro-rate a partial month on cancellation, except where required by consumer law in your jurisdiction.
- Annual plans cancelled mid-term stop at the end of the paid term and do not renew.
Refunds we will give
- A full refund within 14 days of a first paid subscription, for any reason, provided the account has not been used for bulk messaging or scraping at scale in that period.
- A pro-rata refund where we discontinue a core feature you subscribed for and cannot provide a comparable replacement.
- A pro-rata credit where our service level falls below the commitments in the Service Level Agreement, as set out there.
- A full refund of a duplicate or erroneous charge, always, without argument.
Refunds we will not give
- Fees for a billing period already consumed, where the service was available.
- Charges arising from third-party providers, including Meta, telephony carriers, email providers and AI vendors.
- Losses caused by a WhatsApp number being restricted or banned as a result of your own messaging practices.
- Subscriptions terminated by us for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Costs of your own staff time, consultants or opportunity cost.
3. How to request a refund
- Message us on WhatsApp on +91 96304 70438 from the address registered on the workspace, with the subject line "Refund request".
- Include the workspace name and a short description of the reason.
- We will acknowledge within 2 business days and give a decision within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If you disagree with our decision, reply in the same chat and it will be reviewed by someone who was not involved in the original assessment.
4. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback opened without prior contact may result in the workspace being suspended while the dispute is investigated, which can interrupt live campaigns. In almost every case a direct request is faster and less disruptive.
5. Your data after cancellation
Cancelling never forfeits your data. You retain export access for 30 days after cancellation, in CSV, XLSX and through the API, including attachments and call recordings. See section 8 of the Terms for the full deletion timeline.
